The World According To Good Gods : Greg Oliver
The World According To Good Gods
What our modern world needs most are deeply motivated people who are sophisticated, open-minded global thinkers overflowing with new ideas.
Reading this book will surely help you to become one of them, especially when you do so in an unbiased fashion, with willingness to accept new ideas and novel thoughts on many different subjects and topics.
This is a book for truth seekers. And it is – for the most part – aimed at people who possess a broad-spectrum academic knowledge. In essence, it is an intellectually engaging textbook, which offers a novel approach to Scientific Naturalism. And so, it is not intended for people with limiting religious views or for those who are harbouring various modern-day dogmatic beliefs.
It is a comprehensive and well-researched book, which contains many new theses. That’s why you do not need to just read this book. You need to put the book down for a time and then come back to it again, instead of reading it at once from the beginning to the end. In other words, you need to take your time and digest it slowly…
There are many profound insights covered in its chapters that will make you think. It explores in depth the nature of our existence and investigates the scientific basis of happiness. “The World According To Good Gods” contains many self-explanatory truths, which on the whole supplement the general framework of the new-fangled worldview presented on its pages. Therefore, many references, which support the observations presented in this book, are deliberately omitted – as they are clearly not needed for people with adequate general knowledge.
Reading this book will help you take a step back and look at the big picture. Your life picture.
Are you truly happy?
Is there something important missing in your life?
Do you often ponder what the meaning of your life actually is?
Do you often query whether there is a God?
Do you sincerely think that you have a really good education? In any case, do you know beyond any doubt what a truly good education is?
Do you relate to any of these questions? If yes, then you must read this book.

Broken Childhood – Mended Dreams : Jimmy Lee
Broken Childhood – Mended Dreams: The Misadventures of Jimmy Lee
Jimmy Lee has led some sort of life!
He had a start in life few would have survived; he was taken into care at three years old and by the time he was eleven he had moved home ten times and attended nine different schools.
His early adolescence was hard by any standards. At fourteen, he ran away to join the Royal Navy and was sent, along with 2000 other boys, to the notorious HMS Ganges at Shotley, in Suffolk, a training establishment where a harsh regime held sway.
He had the misfortune to be placed under the care of two particularly brutal instructors, prone to drunkenness, whose continual bullying and abuse proved too much for his emerging free spirit. Jim fought back and deserted on numerous occasions. Among his many punishments, he suffered ‘cuts’, a particularly brutal form of naval punishment.
The next six years passed with regular naval detentions in the Royal Naval Detention Quarters, Portsmouth, involving exhausting routines and solitary confinements, which ended with a twelve-month sentence in the infamous HM Military Prison Corradina, Malta, after which he was dismissed from the Service and returned to civilian life.
Then his troubles really began!

Scaling the Revenue Engine : Tom Mohr
Scaling the Revenue Engine
The prevailing model of revenue generation conceives of marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and product development as separate activities. But two years of in-depth research and extensive input from world-class practitioners makes clear that the prevailing model is broken.
In Scaling the Revenue Engine, Tom Mohr shows that best practice revenue engines are built as whole systems, bounded by unit economics, with end-to-end workflows and data flows that support orchestrated prospect and customer engagement. Every step is tracked by metrics. Teams leverage data to continuously improve everything.
Mohr gives CEOs and their teams the tools and frameworks they need to scale. He maps out every component of a successful revenue engine and provides practical advice for making engine improvements at every stage of a company, for every variation of business model. Scaling the Revenue Engine is a comprehensive, practical, and powerful tool for business acceleration.

The Promise Land Principle : Richard Christenson
The Promise Land Principle
The book of Exodus provides us with one of the most dramatic adventures of faith found in the Bible. During its forty fantastic chapters, we read about the enslavement of and entire race; a baby set afloat on the Nile river; a speaking shrub; a shepherd’s staff becoming a venomous snake; water transformed into blood; miraculous frogs, gnats, flies, and locus infestations; a death angel; a sea selectively parting for the good guys and swallowing up the bad guys; a seemingly unlimited supply of flat bread on the ground in the desert every morning; birds dropping in for dinner; water flowing out of rocks; and much, much more.
The stuff God pulls off in Exodus is way better than anything Indiana Jones, Iron man, or a Jedi relying upon the force could possibly accomplish. Seriously, someone should consider negotiating a film deal with God. I really believe the story that unfolds in Exodus would be a blockbuster success. Wait, has someone already done that movie?
As fun as it is to read the stupendous Exodus story, I want to make sure you don’t miss the primary reason God inspired this book to be included in the Bible. this intriguing, inspirational narrative is about faith; how god goes about preparing His people to carry out their intended work and warfare with reliance upon His presence, power, and provision. The purpose and possibilities of our partnership with God are the primary teachings conveyed through all the awesome Exodus adventures.

From then on, life was different. Suddenly, she was in a job she loved, and she no longer had to struggle to make ends meet, but there was still one thing missing. Love.
Optimistic, Jules began internet dating, and unwittingly invited in a new kind of trouble into her life. Was it her trusting nature? Her naïveté? Or was it simply her desperate desire to share her life with someone that made her take the risks that almost cost her life?
