A perfect summer read —
Karen Johnston has never known her biological father, but now that both of her adopted parents have died and she is back in Oklahoma selling their original home she begins to wonder where he is. In the process of listing the 1920’s cottage, she discovers an old trunk in the attic. A series of diaries from the 1800’s through the 1970’s pushes her toward a search for her own past. The strong women Karen encounters in these journals gives her the strength to face both her troubled marriage and her long lost father.
