The Afterlife of Alice Watkins : Matilda Scotney
The Afterlife of Alice Watkins: Book One
In the distant future…
Alice Watkins is history.
Time’s attention must have been elsewhere the moment old, grey, unsophisticated Alice Watkins died in her armchair a few days before her birthday in November 2016.
It still wasn’t minding what it was doing on Saturn Station in the year 2513.
Dr Jim Grossmith, one of the most eminent scientists of the age has devoted his career to The Sleeping Beauty Phenomenon, guarding the beautiful, red-haired young woman who sleeps peacefully, in a mysterious sarcophagus, her life perfectly suspended, her body preserved in a strange fluid. The woman, cocooned in her protective shell has defied scientific analysis for almost four hundred years.
History recorded little, only that she is Dr Alexis Langley, a noted scientist of her time.
When the sarcophagus opens and vanishes without a trace, leaving the young woman in his care, Jim Grossmith eagerly awaits the day when she can tell him the manner of her preservation. A strange science, lost in the annals of the past? Alien technology?
But as he learns her story, Jim Grossmith finds himself faced with an even deeper mystery. He is certain the physical form of Dr Alexis Langley emerged from the sarcophagus, but as for anything else…

Upside Down Evangelism : Fabio Muniz
Upside Down Evangelism: How Not to Manipulate People in a Post-Modern, Post-Christian, Spiritually Alive Globalized World
Over the centuries, people have been turned off by Christianity because of its role in institutionalized religion.
What if the person of Jesus could be separated from two thousand years of horrendous acts committed by people who say they follow Him? What impact would that have on a society that is increasingly global-minded, cynical, and post-Christian?
Fábio Muniz was raised in Brazil and has spent years in Canada, Spain, the U.S. and Japan. Learn from his experience with atheists, agnostics and people burned out on religion around the world as he demystifies one of the most controversial people of all time.
By living out our lives as the people we were created to be, we can allow evangelism to happen organically. Read this book to see why Jesus was not the founder of Christianity, how our life is our mission and our mission is our life, the reason our lives should never be compartmentalized, and why it’s not always necessary to talk about the Old Testament when talking about the historical person of Jesus Christ.

The Focus of Faith : Blake Western
The Focus of Faith is a book of messages about the heart of the Christian faith. Each chapter can be read independently. The messages are based on the Bible. They are meant, not only for believers in Christ, but also for people who may be searching for a faith to anchor their life. You will find messages to encourage but also point the way to Christ.
There are chapters with titles such as the following: The Question that is the Answer, Love that is Big Enough, The Hope that Excites, Making Good News into Bad News, and many more. Altogether there are 25 chapters that cover a variety of topics. If you are interested in the Bible or would like to know more about it, these messages should appeal to you.
Many of these messages were first delivered in Japan where the author was a missionary. The aim of the author is to write simply in order that it is easy to understand. In other words, put the fodder down where the sheep can get to it. It is not the kind of book where you have to read from beginning to end. You can find chapters that appeal to you and jump from chapter to chapter.

Keeping The Balance : Sue Churchill
Keeping the Balance is a glimpse into the world of paranormal activity and negative entities. The book explains the spiritual clearance work Sue has carried out with her husband Mick over many years.
With over 20 years’ experience of developing and working as spiritual mediums and healers, Sue and Mick found themselves on a more unusual path resolving spiritual problems that people had. It is an area undertaken by only a small percentage of mediums and lightworkers.
People who are experiencing spiritual activity may have a number of things happening to them: unexplained noises or voices; seeing shadows or spirits; feelings of terror or being watched; nightmares; objects being moved or going missing; physical touches or even violence. The victims often don’t know where to go for help and fear being ridiculed.
The book includes factual accounts of some of the cases which they have dealt with; from psychic attack, attachment and spirit rescue through to full spiritual possession. Sue explains the possible reasons and causes of spiritual problems and the different types of spiritual energies they have encountered including lost souls, negative entities, demononic and residual energies.
Sue also describes the process of how they work to clear and resolve problems, which usually involve different types of energies or entities and is like piecing together a jigsaw puzzle. She has developed a deep knowledge and understanding of spiritual subjects evolved from her lifelong interest and experience which she shares. You can find information and advice on spiritual protection and well-being, spiritual development and paranormal investigation, along with background and thoughts on exorcism and deliverance, beliefs and philosophies.
For anyone interested in the paranormal or spiritual fields who is keen to discover more and likes to view different perspectives, it is an eye-opening read.
